We all love our senior friends and relatives, and want so much
to remember them on holidays.

But we don't want to clutter their downsized homes with 'stuff.' I think it is good to give small, or consumable gifts.

Allen Hainge , a great real estate trainer and professional, put out the question for ideas on his Facebook page, and came up with some ideas: 
-Take them out for a nice dinner or lunch
-A subscription to their favorite magazine
-A subscription to their local newspaper
-A certificate to a nice restaurant
... -A pre-paid grocery card
-A weekly phone call
-If they have a favorite team, take them to a game; if they don't live near you, send them a pair of tickets
-Drop by for a visit...just to talk
-Movie tickets
-A monthly cleaning service for their home
-A pair of glasses, if needed
-A clothing certificate
-A photo album containing photos from their past
-An Ancestor.com membership









I recently gave a closing gift to Mrs. K.,
a senior home seller.
This was a coffee mug with a photo
of her home on it, ordered from
Costco (other photo processing
companies also make gifts with photos).

I also gave her mouse pads with her home photo for her grown childen.
